Clear Creek ISD Intermediate Summer School is for students entering grades 6–8. Classes are held at Clear Lake High School. A student may receive full credit for a year’s course in one class in one session.
During pre-registration, students must contact their home campus counselor to register for courses.
June 10 – June 20, 2024, Monday – Thursday
Students will have the opportunity to get targeted support in essential skills that will help them build a stronger foundation in ELA and/or Math. The extra support with these essential skills will help students be successful with their 2024-25 courses. By attending summer school, students will receive 26 hours of the HB1416 required accelerated instruction in each content area if they were not successful on the Math and/or Reading STAAR.
Summer semester II is only for students who are required/recommended to take science and/or social studies to be promoted to the next grade level.

Week Two: Monday – Wednesday
These courses are available to students that need to complete necessary requirements in order to be promoted to the next grade level. Students will be notified if this work is needed. The only time a student is required to take summer school for science and/or social studies is if their overall combined average (mathematics, English language arts (ELA), science, and social studies) is below a 70 AND the student’s final grade for mathematics and English are both above 70 with their science and/or social students grades below a 70.
This class is a full day class, offered in both sessions. Space is limited, please register as soon as possible!
Summer School fees will take 24 hours following registration to show in Skyward Family Access for payment. If you do not see your fees in Skyward after 24 hours have passed, then contact your home campus counselor.
Students are expected to bring their own CCISD issued device to summer school every day.
NO TRANSPORTATION will be provided to and from summer school campus for intermediate summer school.

Courses taught this semester are equivalent to courses taught in the Fall(A) semester during a regular school year.
June 24 – July 3, 2024, Monday – Friday

Courses taught this semester are equivalent to courses taught in the Spring (B) semester during a regular school year.
Students will be dropped if payment is not received by June 12, 2024.

No refund will be provided for students who are dismissed from summer school for attendance or discipline concerns.
Payment can be made through your student’s Home Campus Bookkeeper prior to June 10, 2024 or Online.
Starting June 10, 2024, payments can be made at Summer School. Students will be dropped if payment is not received by June 12, 2024. Cash will not be accepted at in-person at Clear Lake High School.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing before the second day of each session. No refund will be given to students dismissed due to disciplinary or attendance reasons.

Clear Access allows students to take high school courses online, outside of their regular school day schedule for original credit. Clear Access offers flexibility for students who wish to enrich or supplement their education. It enables students to obtain credits to complete their course work early, participate in other academic opportunities and gain experience in an online learning environment.
